A New Beginning...
The coach finally came today, but it was raining. All of us were so disappointed thinking that training would be cancelled. Then the coach said something that scared the shit out of me. He said "no matter what's the weather, the training continues!" But luckily, after a prayer by Dicky, the rain really did stop! *gasp*There were a few people who came, about 10 including the coach and 2 young boys who happened to be quite good (which randall pointed out to me that the young boy was even better than me).
The training was tough but everyone's morale was high and I think the future of st stephen's soccer team is going in the right directions.
Another piece of news which I feel is important is that the choir practice is changed to saturday nights, cos everyone prefer it to be then. And besides it would not be so hot and stuffy as like on sunday afternoons.
And the speech given by Dawn was very well given, though I hope all the people actually listened to her.
But I think the best Kodak moment is when Dawn asked who would want to come on Saturday for practices. And, EVERYONE puts up their hand. And I hope this commitment to choir would lasts.
By the way, Dawn and Kazz are going for internship at St Francis Xavier to experience other choir. We wish them luck and that they would bring new ideas to lead the choir.
Father Khoo invited us for dinner just now with PPC, supposedly the end of PPC. The food was good, and I sat beside Uncle Phillip. Had a good time talking to him, and finding out more about St Stephen and its people from him. He's a nice guy. You have a good father, Andrea. :)
Anyhow, hope today marks a brand new beginning for Soccer and Choir...
